The insides of a fridge are not compatible with the Best Water Filter Ever. However, the water hose that feeds the fridge is. The process for installation for a fridge is to cut the water supply line and insert it in the two ends of the filter. In almost all cases the supply line is 1/4 inch. If your supply line is 3/8 you will need to reduce it before completing the installation.
