How Many Replacement Filters do You Need Per Year?
Hand wash the reservoir and lid of your pitcher with warm soapy water. Do not place your pitcher in the dishwasher.
Remove filters before cleaning water pitcher. Plastic parts can be cleaned with a mild liquid detergent. DO NOT WASH FILTER If you do not intend to use the water pitcher for an extended period of time, remove the filters from reservoir, re-flush filters and allow to dry completely. DO NOT put in freezer DO NOT use with hot water DO NOT use with salt water DO NOT use with anything but water DO NOT put in dishwasher.
The flushing of this filter is very important and many people don’t take the time to flush it properly. Please take some time to flush your radiological filter for the best experience.
You can flush the filter under a faucet or on an outside hose spigot with high water pressure. Make sure you apply significant water pressure from your faucet or spigot to flush the filter. Most people flush the filters by just holding them up under a stream of water and do not apply enough water pressure.
If you do not refrigerate the water pitcher you will want to wash it with warm soap and water every other week to keep it clean. Just like we wash our dishes, we have to wash the water pitcher.
